Vote for Chase Oliver for President on November 5

Chase Oliver is a 38-year-old Libertarian activist living in Atlanta. Dubbed “…the most influential Libertarian in America…” by Rolling Stone, Oliver is a champion of the rights of the individual against the growing power of the state.

Oliver began his political activism opposing the War in Iraq under then-President George W. Bush, and he discovered the Libertarian Party when he stopped by a booth at the Atlanta Pride Festival in 2010. In 2020, he ran for Congress in Georgia’s 5th district to complete the term of the late civil rights icon John Lewis.

In 2022, he ran for U.S. Senate, debating incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker’s empty podium. Oliver was widely credited with causing the runoff election between Warnock and Walker.

Riding the success of his senate campaign, Oliver announced his intent to run for the Libertarian Presidential nomination. Since then, he has participated in the Free and Equal Debate which included candidates outside of the Republicans and Democrats, topped the vote in four Libertarian primaries, including Oklahoma’s very first Libertarian primary, won the Presidential Straw Poll with about 43 percent of the vote at the Libertarian Party of Iowa’s first Caucus and became the first third-party presidential candidate invited to speak at the Iowa Political Soapbox at the State Fair.

Chase Oliver has appeared on PBS, CNN, Fox Business, CSPAN, WSB TV and Radio, Fox News, 11 Alive News, Forbes, USA Today, Vice Media, Reason TV, and more. He has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Bloomberg, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Guardian, and Rolling Stone.

Key Deadlines Kansas Voters Should Know

The 2024 general election is less than two months away. While the presidency has been the most talked-about item on the ballot, there are also several local races and a statewide election that Kansas voters will see on November 5. With the election getting closer, it’s important to familiarize yourself with some dates and steps you may need to take so you’re better prepared when it’s time to vote.

Here are Kansas’ key election dates, from the Kansas Secretary of State’s website:

Oct. 15: Last day to register to vote. There are several ways you can register to vote, including filling out the Kansas Online Voter Registration form on the Kansas Department of Revenue’s website.

Oct. 16: Advance voting begins in Kansas. Exact start dates can vary by county.

Oct. 29: Last day to apply for advance ballot

Nov. 4: Early voting ends

Nov. 5: Election Day

WHERE’S MY POLLING PLACE? You can see your voting info by visiting the Kansas Secretary of State’s Voter View website. From there, enter your first and last name and date of birth. Once that’s entered, you can view your polling place for Election Day, as well as your voter registration and a sample ballot.

HOW CAN I REQUEST A MAIL BALLOT? Anyone in Kansas can request a mail ballot. You can request one by filling out a form from the Kansas secretary of state’s website and mailing it to your county election office. The form can also be found county election offices’ websites as well. Advance ballots can be mailed to the county election office, dropped off in a drop box or taken in person to the election office. You can also bring any ballots to any polling places. All ballots have to be returned to a drop box, the county election office or a polling place by 7 p.m. on Election Day. Ballots sent by mail have to be postmarked on or before Election Day and received no later than the Friday after the election. You have until Oct. 29 to apply for a mail-in ballot.
