Libertarian Porcupine Club of Kansas

A New Beginning in Libertarian Activism

2025 Libertarian Party of Kansas State Convention

April 25-27, 2025

Clarion Inn, Garden City, Kansas

Welcome to the Libertarian Porcupine Club of Kansas home page. We are primarily a service club supporting various libertarian activities throughout Kansas. Our headquarters is at Liberty House, in Paola, but we are working to create regional chapters soon.

Our main interest is in training qualified Libertarians to run successful local campaigns. These candidates can create freedom at a local level as they gain skills, experience and a base of support to eventually run for statewide office. We will offer training seminars for both candidates and campaign managers. We also hope to gather a volunteer base as more and more libertarians join the Porcupine Club.

The Porcupine Club will also offer training on activist activities such as creating rallies and events, training effective volunteer staffs to work at tables and booths, petitioning, letter writing, fundraising, and community organizing. Please feel free to share your personal interests and ideas.

We have started a Libertarian Mutual Aid of Kansas group. Mutual aid is a model of voluntary cooperation and resource sharing among community members to address common needs. It is based on the idea of “neighbor helping neighbor” and can be used in a variety of contexts, including daily needs and disasters. Currently we have made a few individual donations and have worked with a local homeless shelter in Paola. Recognizing that many of our neighbors need help, we plan to expand our mission statewide.
